Steps to Deactivate or delete Twitter account
Step 1: Open the Twitter account:
Go to the account website to access your Twitter home page. This should be done when users are already logged in into the account. If not then, click the “Log In” option which is visible in the top-right corner of the window. Enter your login details into the labeled text fields.
Step 2: Click on the profile image:

Step 4: Enter the Twitter password:
When prompted, users are requested to type the password that they used to log into their Twitter in the “Password” text field.
Step 5: Click the “Deactivate account”:
It will be displayed in a blue button at bottom-right corner of your window screen. Clicking on it will deactivate your Twitter account. But, still users will be able to log into their account any time in the 30 days to regain its access. Twitter will hold onto your account information for 30 days after deactivation, after which point your account will be gone with no chance of recovery.
