Google Chrome
1.Open Google Chrome.
2.Click ⋮ in the upper-right corner of the window.
3.Click Settings.
4.Scroll to the bottom of the page and click Advanced.
5.Scroll down and click Content settings. It’s near the bottom of the “Privacy and security” section.
6.Scroll down and click Popups.
7.Slide the Allowed slider to the “Off” position Image titled Iphoneswitchofficon.png
.
Pop-up windows will now be blocked whenever you encounter them in Chrome.
You can block pop-ups from individual sites by clicking Add under the “Blocked” section of the menu and entering the URL of the site from which you wish to block the content.
Mozilla Firefox
1.Open Mozilla Firefox.
2.Click ≡ in the upper-right corner of the window.
3.Click Image titled Android7settings.png
Preferences.
4.Click Content in the left pane of the window.
5.Check “Block pop-up windows.” Pop-up windows will now be blocked whenever you encounter them in Firefox
You can block pop-ups from individual sites by clicking Exceptions… to the right of the checkbox and entering the URL of the site from which you wish to block the content.
Safari
1.Open Safari.
2.Click Safari in the menu bar.
3.Click Preferences….
4.Click the Security tab.
5.Check “Block pop-up windows” in the “Web content” section. Pop-up windows will now be blocked whenever you encounter them in Safari.
Pop-ups from individual sites cannot be blocked in Safari.
Microsoft Edge
1.Open Edge.
2.Click … in the upper-right part of the screen.
3.Click Settings.
4.Scroll down and click View advanced settings.
5.Slide “Block pop-ups to the “On” (blue} position. You will now see pop-up windows whenever you encounter them in Edge.
Microsoft Internet Explorer
1.Open Internet Explorer.
2.Click Image titled Android7settings.png
Tools.
3.Click Internet options.
4.Click the Privacy tab.
5.Check Turn on Pop-up Blocker.
6.Click OK. Pop-up windows will now be blocked whenever you encounter them in Internet Explorer.
You can block pop-ups from individual sites by clicking Pop-up Blocker Settings next to the checkbox and entering the URL of the site from which you wish to block the content.
